Bergen County Bathroom Renovation - Amazing Wall Tile with brass accents

Today I am so happy to share a recently renovated Bergen County bathroom. We selected a beautiful tile for the shower wall that really steals the show. We used brass fixtures for the shower and the sink faucet for a glam look and I love the result!

I love the variation in color of the tile. As soon as we found it in the tile store, we knew it was the winner!

Now let’s take a step back and zoom out to see more of the finished space which features a large vanity and mixed metals of black with brass.

We simplified the floor to let the wall tile in the shower really shine. And we added a sconce over the new (smaller) mirror for an updated look.

Teenage Bedroom Transformation - Bergen County Interior Designer

My clients contacted me in the spring to ask me to do a room transformation for their tween daughter who was going away to sleepaway camp. They wanted it to be a surprise for her when she came home from camp and this sounded SO fun to me! Of course I was up for this project. We had a tight turnaround time, but got it all done and I am so happy to hear that this lucky girl LOVES her new room!!

Here is a photo of her room that I took the day that I first stopped by to take measurements.

As you can see, it was a total transformation with all new furniture, wall color and window treatments.

It’s all in the details - I love the ruffles in the drapes, the new ceiling fixture and the handle bar on the night stands.

I hope that she finds her new desk space to be a productive spot to get homework done.

My client told me how much her daughter loves dogs so I was happy to find these adorable prints to display over her bed.

I think this new space will grow with her through middle and high school and I can even see her wanting to bring some of these items to her college dorm. I know I want the night stand and table lamp for my own house :)

One more side by side before/after shot. You’ll notice that when we put the new furniture in place, we moved the nightstand to the other side of her bed. So now it’s front and center when she enters her new room. It was too pretty to hide on the back wall!

Family Room Transformation - Bergen County interior designer

I am so happy to share this recently completed family room transformation. It is such a welcoming space with lots of light and comfortable seating. We also really personalized the space incorporating meaningful photographs both on the wall and on the shelves.

See where we started with the room below- notice that we re-worked the built-ins and removed the chair-rail to really open up the space.

My clients love to travel so I selected four photos from their vacation collection to be displayed on the wall in these matted frames.

Details like the decor on the side table and throw blankets on the sectional are what make a room feel complete.

I love all of the natural light that this room gets.

Decorating shelves are so much fun! I really enjoy picking out all of the decor and pillows. The accessories are so important - it’s all in the details.

There are so many fun textures here with the pillows, throw blankets and rug.

Family Room Reveal- Bergen County interior designer

This project reveal is so special to me. I loved working with my wonderful clients on their new home for the past year and the end result is SO exciting to share with you all. My clients wanted this family room to be functional, warm and inviting as it is the heart of the home and connected to their kitchen. They have an abundance of natural light with so many big windows, and luckily they have a green thumb so the greenery you see is all real!!

Here is a before photo that I took about a year ago when I first met my clients. This is a new build home and when I was brought in, the walls were up so our first task was selecting paint and a floor stain.

We used a Frame TV over the mantle so that when the family isn’t watching TV, it looks like real art.

On the other wall of the room, we featured a gallery of family photos.
