Project Reveal- Living Room, Dining Room Transformation Bergen County Designer

Today I am sharing another reveal from the AckermanHomeProject. To see the reveal of the nursery from this home, click here.

This post will focus on the downstairs of the home. Let’s start in the dining room. My clients purchased this newly renovated home from a developer and there was no hook-up for a light fixture over the table so we went with a large vase as the centerpiece. These chairs were custom upholstered and we selected kid and pet friendly fabric that will last for many years to come.

The dining room is open to the kitchen which features a nice sized island. I love how the new black stools tie in with the black finish on the pendants, curtain rods and frames.

Here is a peek into the dining room and kitchen from the living room. I love how open the floor plan is. We took advantage of the wall space to feature a gallery wall of framed black and white photos.

Let’s see more of the living room! The space features plenty of seating between the large comfy sofa and the two leather accent chairs. There are lots of textures that are incorporated in the space between the pillows on the sofa and chairs as well as the rug and drapes.

Now let’s get a closer look at the large console table featuring that 30x30 framed art. I love the texture of the pots and planters as well as that cool lamp!

Another look from the living room into the dining room and beyond that is a little mudroom.

Bedroom Project -Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I can’t wait for this bedroom transformation project to finally come to life. We started working on it several months ago and have been waiting patiently for everything to ship and be delivered during this crazy time of major delays. Well now we are in the home stretch and the room is going to be painted next week. So I should have photos later this month and can’t wait to share!! Project Reveal -Baby Boy Nursery - Glen Rock NJ designer - Ackerman Home Project

If you follow me on Instagram, you got a preview this week of this sweet nursery at my #ackermanhomeproject that we just wrapped up and photographed! We started working on this project in the spring and we worked on several spaces in the home including this nursery, my clients’ bedroom, living room, home office and kitchen/dining room.

Today’s post will share all of the details of this baby boy’s nursery. This wall features a gorgeous dresser that will be used as a changing table and grow with the baby as he gets older. I love how the pom poms of the drapes coordinate with the color of the dresser. And how adorable are these large scale animal prints?!

Here you can see the rocking horse that is a family heirloom and fits perfectly in front of the windows.

The glider is comfortable and stylish!

The wallpaper accent wall is so much fun! I love the contrast of it against the white crib and mobile. We also feature a personalized name embroidery piece of art.

The bookshelves are already filled with books ready for this baby boy!

Family Room Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I am so excited to see this room come to life after working on it for several months now. Here is the concept board so that you can see what will be going in the space. Here is a BEFORE photo of the room. The sconces will be removed soon and the room will be painted Simply White. The fireplace is also getting a facelift with a new carrera marble surround.
