Bergen County NJ Living Room transformation - progress update

After MANY months working with my awesome client, I am so excited about the progress on her living room transformation!! She is definitely going for a minimalist look in this space but we still have a couple of more finishing pieces to add before this is an official "after" photo. She just sent me this progress picture and I love how it is all coming together. It is such a sleek and sophisticated vibe.

As soon as I got the photo I had to find the picture that I took when I first met my client at our consultation last year -we have come a long way!!

Project Reveal - Bedroom transformation Bergen County interior designer

I am so thrilled to share this bedroom transformation project that I recently got to photograph. My clients had one request for their space and that was a canopy bed to take advantage of their incredible ceilings.

Here is a before photo - I always love a blank slate project!!

Between the pillows, the leather bench, upholstered headboard and rug, these textures together make me happy!!

I love how the 40” x 40” art fills the wall.

The opposite wall features the dresser (there is a TV above it) and a tall mirror to fill in the empty corner.

The color palette is so soft and soothing and makes for a welcome retreat at the end of a long day.

Home Office Design - Bergen County NJ interior designer

I loved this home office transformation! My client is working from home and wanted to have a WOW space - I think the finished result fits the bill! My carpenter executed my vision perfectly with the built-ins, the ceiling details and paneling on the wall opposite the built-ins.

Here is a close up of the fabulous light fixture - you can also see the beautiful art and custom leather sofa.

My client wanted a TV in the center of his built-ins and we used closed cabinets to hide all of the necessary office (non-pretty) items. I sourced some decor for the open shelves and my client added some personal touches to reflect his personality and interests.

Wyckoff family room transformation - Bergen County designer

Today I am sharing a project reveal of this Wyckoff family room that we recently completed. My clients have this gorgeous family room with tall ceilings and lots of natural light. They already had the light fixture, sofas and chair, but needed help with finishing the space (coffee table, pillows, art, accessories). This comfortable and stylish space is the heart of the home, featuring a new beautiful fireplace and built-ins.

I loved decorating these built-ins for my clients. Accessories really finish a space and make a house a home.

Here is the other side of the family room - I loved bringing in some color with the art and pillows. The leather woven stools add warmth and texture.
