Little Boy Nursery Design - Bergen County NJ decorator

Today I want to share a little more about the process of working together on a space. I’m sharing an AFTER photo of a nursery that I designed for a client renovating their house. It’s always so fun to see the finished product and I want to share how we got to the finish line in this adorable space. I love this customized wall art and how it pairs with the dark navy dresser - these are pieces that will stay in the room for many years as they don’t scream “baby!!”. The rug is super soft and a perfect neutral tone. It was fun adding the star stickers to the wall to add a little whimsy to the space.

How did we get here? Let’s start with the concept board that I presented to my client.

The next step after presenting the concept board was showing my client a rendering of the room to better visualize what the end result would look like.

Last weekend I had such a fun job site visit with clients in Glen Rock who are getting ready to move in to their brand new home. We met up to finalize paint colors and floor stain so I took some photos to share so that you can see a glimpse of the progress. Here is the mudroom with fun herringbone tile. Even covered in dust it looks great!!

Next up are photos of the master bathroom which is looking gorgeous with lots of white and marble tile!

Now that it’s finally spring outside, why not bring some of that inside your home? Getting fresh flowers is such a simple way of adding warmth to any space. Here is a simple arrangement that I picked up at Trader Joes and put in my classic white oversized vase from Pottery Barn. I move this vase around my house as needed because it is so versatile that looks good anywhere.

If you are short on time, I just clip a branch from a tree in my backyard in a pinch if I just want to quickly add some greenery to a vase.

I am so excited about the progress happening at my clients house including her daughter’s bedroom! She loves the color pink so of course we incorporated it in the design of her room. The pale pink walls look great and wait until I share photos of the floral wallpaper accent wall! Here is a glimpse of the corner with her bed - this is a fun framed print of a ferris wheel.
