Bergen County NJ Living Room transformation - progress update

After MANY months working with my awesome client, I am so excited about the progress on her living room transformation!! She is definitely going for a minimalist look in this space but we still have a couple of more finishing pieces to add before this is an official "after" photo. She just sent me this progress picture and I love how it is all coming together. It is such a sleek and sophisticated vibe.

As soon as I got the photo I had to find the picture that I took when I first met my client at our consultation last year -we have come a long way!!

Celebrating 5 years in Business + McGee & Co shared my work!

Earlier in January, Christie Adams Design celebrated 5 years in business!! The time has really flown by, especially this past year which was super busy as I worked with 110 clients. Right before the end of the year, I got a fun surprise when I got the notification on instagram that McGee &Co shared my work!! I quickly took a screenshot and sent a text to my clients to share my excitement!

Thank you all for coming along on this journey with me - I have enjoyed meeting so many clients whether it’s been an in-home consultation, a Face-time virtual consultation or doing a room (or whole house!) renovation/ transformation. Bedroom Transformation: New Build Home Designer

Today I am excited to share this bedroom transformation! My clients recently purchased a newly built home with large closets so they did not need any storage in their bedroom in terms of a dresser or chest. So we went big with their bed to highlight their tall ceilings and added luxe window treatments and kept it simple and understated with the night stands.

I love new build homes for their abundance of windows and tall ceilings!

I am so happy to see the finished space. The color palette is serene and the room is now the perfect retreat after a long day.

It’s all in the details - I love the different textures we incorporated in the space. The woven woods on the windows, the upholstered bed, patterned vintage wool rug and the bedding / pillows are all so gorgeous in person!

Holiday Gift Wish-List

My family does a Secret Santa and we all set up a wish-list on Elfster. So over the past few days I have been compiling some ideas for my own list (and have been inspired by some of the items on my family members’ lists.
