Project Reveal- Ridgewood NJ interior designer Bedroom transformation

Today I am sharing the bedroom reveal from my Gardner Project which is a 1930’s home that got a total transformation from top to bottom. I have shared most of the first floor and today we are going upstairs to my client’s bedroom.

And here are the BEFORE photos!!! As you can see this was a blank slate project which is my FAVORITE!! We removed the wallpaper and the sellers took all of the furniture so it was an empty room for me to design and I couldn’t be happier about that!

I asked my clients if they preferred a ceiling fan or a light fixture and I am so happy that they picked light fixture. This one looks so stunning and really lets the bed shine! I also love the texture of the leather bench and wool rug.

So many beautiful textures in this space!

Here is the dresser - the fluted drawer fronts are my favorite!

Project Reveal- virtual design NJ interior designer

I just got a client review and after photo via email from a project that I worked on virtually last summer/fall and I am so excited to share!!

This was a dining room transformation - my client said that that the room really only was used for major holidays and that they wanted to convert it into more of a multi functional room. One of the must-haves was two desks for the kids to use for school.

Here is the review:

Christie was so friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole design process, all of which we did virtually. She transformed our previously unused space into a beautiful and functional space that works perfectly for our family. Christie was always unbelievably quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had along the way and able to quickly pivot when we ran into design challenges. She was a pleasure to work with and can’t recommend her services enough!

Thank you!!

And now the after photo that my client sent me! PS that is a Clove Print abstract on the wall called A Day in the City.

Project Reveal - Foyer - Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I recently shared a powder room and dining room from my #gardnerhomeproject and now I’m sharing the completed foyer from this beautiful 1930’s home. In this photo you can get a glimpse of the aforementioned powder room on the left and then on the right is the living room which I will be featuring in an upcoming blog post. In the middle is a 45”x45” commissioned piece of art that is such a showstopper in person!!

Here you can see the other angle of the foyer looking into the kitchen. This sweet little cabinet fits the space so perfectly and I am so happy with how it all came together with the mirror and lamp.

There is also a little vestibule when you first enter the home and there is a duo of pretty prints on the walls. Here you can see one of them:
