I am so excited to share this dining room transformation. It is a fantastic example of how you don’t need to replace everything in a space in order for it to have a brand new look. My clients were keeping their existing table and chairs and a bookshelf that they already owned. But they wanted a new light fixture, paint color, wall art, window treatments, decor for the bookshelf, dining table centerpiece and a new storage piece of furniture.
In this first photo, you can see the new paint, light fixture, centerpiece and wall art. The framed prints are from my clients’ travels all over the world.
We started with a blank wall (and a darker wall color) as you can see in the below before photo:
On the other side of the wall, there is a fireplace and my clients wanted to add a storage piece. I love the one that we selected and how it fills the space. The new light fixture and paint color also make the room feel brand new.
In the corner, my clients had this shelf that they wanted to keep but wanted help with styling. So I was able to select all new decor and am so happy with the finished result! We also added beautiful woven wood window treatments to the window which add texture and warmth.
