Before and After Bedroom - Northern NJ interior designer

Everyone loves a good before and after post so here is one of a recently completed master bedroom. This was a whole house renovation project so we were starting from scratch with the space which is my favorite type of project. This Bergen County home has a view of NYC so we chose not to cover up these windows with any drapes. The Before photo I took on one of my job site visits - I think we selected floor stain color on this day.

The after came out better than I could have hoped for!! Here is a close up of the statement art piece

Master Bedroom Makeover - Bergen County NJ interior designer

I know everyone loves before and after photos so today I am sharing a master bedroom project that is recently completed. The top photo is the one I took the first time that I went to my client’s new home. It’s a big space and has a lot of potential. The wallpaper was removed along with the wall to wall carpet and we started with a blank slate which is my favorite type of project.

Here is a closer view - the night tables are very large and really fill the space perfectly.

Here is the rendering of the room - you may notice that ultimately the bed was situated along the opposite wall than what is shown in the rendering which was a last minute change on move-in day.

Today is a fun before and after reveal of this Wyckoff teen boy’s bedroom transformation. I loved this project because everything in the room was being removed so even though it was a very small room, it was a blank slate and that is always my favorite type of project. My client wanted a design that will grow with him (he is in middle school now) and he absolutely loves his new grown up space.

Here is the new dresser which I paired with this fun mirror. I wish I had a spot in my own house for this mirror. The new wall color really makes a difference too!

And here is the new bed, bedding and framed prints for this sports loving boy!

And the cute night table- love this lamp too!

Ready to see the BEFORE photo?! The new design has the bed along the wall where the dresser used to be so that he now faces the window when he wakes up. The dresser is now where the bed/loft used to be.

Dining Roon Renovation - Bergen County interior designer

Today I am sharing the full reveal of this Bergen County dining room transformation. This was a renovation so the photo on the left is the one that I took during a job-site visit. During construction it’s always important to measure and re-measure and doublecheck that the light fixture placement. I remember that job site visit and how I could visualize the end result so it was exciting to take the after photo a few months later!

I love how the dining room is open to the kitchen and family room. This is such a great layout for how families live and use their home.

One more view- the artwork is even more beautiful in person. They make a statement and the frames go so perfectly with the light fixtures.
